Terms of Service

You give us a CV and a job description. We use an AI model to compare them and produce a report containing a match score, a recommendation, an analysis of matches and gaps, and — where you have paid for them — rewritten application materials.

• It is not a prediction that you will or will not be hired, shortlisted, or interviewed.
• It is not career, legal, financial, immigration or employment advice.
• It is not a statement about your worth, ability or employability.
• It is not guaranteed to be accurate. It is generated by an AI model, and AI models make mistakes — including confident ones. Read it as one opinion, and check anything that matters.

Any rewritten résumé or application material we generate is a draft for you to review and edit. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit to an employer. Do not send out a generated document without reading it and confirming every claim in it is true.

• Upload only a CV you are entitled to upload — your own, or one you have permission to submit.
• Do not upload anyone else’s personal information without their consent.
• Do not use the service unlawfully, or to harass anyone.
• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, the free-report limit, or the paywall, and do not attempt to access reports that are not yours.
• Keep your report link private. Anyone holding it can read the report.

Each email address gets a limited number of free reports. Premium materials are a one-off purchase per report, processed by Stripe, in the currency shown at checkout. Premium content is released only after Stripe confirms payment.

The report is generated and delivered immediately, so it cannot be “returned”. If the service failed — you were charged and received nothing, the report did not generate, or you were charged twice — email buildmyresume@luminaryai.com.au within 30 days and we will refund you in full.

We do not generally refund because you disagreed with the score or the recommendation. The report tells you what the analysis found, and an unwelcome answer is still an answer you paid for.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features.

Reports are deleted automatically about 24 hours after they are generated. After that the link stops working and we cannot recover the report. Download the PDF if you want to keep it. This is a deliberate privacy choice, not a fault.

You keep all rights in your CV. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process it and produce your report, as described in the Privacy Policy. The report we generate for you is yours to use however you like. The site, its design, and the underlying software remain ours.

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law rights described above, Luminary AI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, lost employment, or lost income arising from your use of the service or from any decision you made based on a report. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid for it.

We may suspend or refuse access if you breach these terms. You can stop using the service at any time, and can ask us to delete your email address as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
